Our Mission

The NorthWest Indiana Marine Aquarium Club is a group of local individuals dedicated to marine fish and reef-keeping. Our goal is to share knowledge and information, to help each other to make smart choices, and to promote responsible aquarium husbandry while providing a forum to get fast answers from trusted friends. We are further dedicated to the conservastion of marine animal life by promoting the trading of tank raised animals, working with local stores on issues regarding our hobby, and promoting sustainabilty within our natural reefs.

Calendar of Events

The NWIMAC October meeting is on Friday the 28th at 6 PM @ Bigevil1's house in Crown Point. He intends on having the tank in tip top shape and maybe will have a frag or two to raffle off to those who come by including maybe an Original Mummy eye, or a Reverse Purple Swirl Mummy eye chalice. He will also give demos on running and maintaining a bio-pellet reactor and will go over some of its benifits and possible pit falls. There will be pop and some snacks, but it wont be a meal type meeting. We will also discuss the future of the club as Elections will be coming up for the Christmas meeting when Bigevil1, Skjohn, and Yukon's 2 year terms as board members will come to an end.

Remember every meeting attended enters you into the year end raffle for the Big prize.
